The CAC Fourth Annual Giving Tree was a Success!

In 2021, CAC launched its first-ever Giving Tree to provide Maine and New Hampshire students with musical instruments, art supplies, and art & music lessons during the holiday season. The Giving Tree is still strong; we’ve served over 700 young creators in the four years since its inception. We’ve helped kids from Keene, New Hampshire, to Machias, Maine (and many towns in between!) in 87 school districts. We could not do this without the support of our donors, whose kindness and generosity helped us raise over $65,000 over the last four years for this effort. We cannot thank you enough for contributing!

In 2024, we provided over 250 kids with musical instruments, art supplies, lessons, and experiences with assistance from our friends and partners at Mill Studio Arts, Portsmouth Music & Arts Center, Common Roots, and through our web of teacher and homeschool liaisons in Maine (Portland, Biddeford, Saco, Sanford, Marshwood, Wells, Noble, Waldoboro, Kittery, Bucksport, Lyman, York, Westbrook, Buckfield, Lewiston) and New Hampshire (Rollinsford, Somersworth, Rochester, Dover, Newmarket, Milton, Seacoast Christian Academy, Alton), and through our network of volunteers. You all help us make the world a better place by filling it with music and art, and most importantly, putting smiles on young faces. Thank you!
